WHITE, William J. Age 73, of Cohasset, September 12, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife Marilyn (Bryan) White of 51 years: 4 children Mary Ann O'Toole of Dudley MA, Susan White-Stigliano of Milton, Marilyn White of Marshfield and Patricia Cifrino of Cohasset, eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Bill worked for Pan American Airlines for 20 years, then the Federal Aviation Administration where he worked his way up to Deputy Director of Flight Standards in the United States. He enjoyed fishing, boating and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a gracious encourager who had a gift for bringing out the best in others. He was a very talented handy-man and will be greatly missed. "He came, he saw, he fixed it."A private service in his honor will be held this week at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. A Memorial Mass is planned for September 24th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church, 129 South Main Street, Cohasset.
