Tom,
Peace and thoughts for you and your soul mate Tricia. I remember her smile and sincerity in taking interest in one of her friend's little brother. Keep the memories flowing forever. My prayers are with you and all of Tricia's family. Love, Steve

I worked with Tricia in SABES and the math team. She will be missed for her enthusiasm for math and her ability to make it easy for those that don’t connect with math concepts. I think it was ironic that here in Central SABES we were holding a workshop that Tricia developed - Algebra for All when we heard of the downturn she was taking. She would have appreciated knowing that her work was continuing.

Russell, Michele and Brian,

My heartfelt sympathies on the passing of Trish. The memories of the great times we all had together will remain with me forever. Her wit and charm lit up all our lives. My mother always treasured getting her letters from Trish who always showed her thoughtfulness. We will all miss her dearly.

I went to high school with Trish. I think back to the many wonderful times that the 2 of us enjoyed: a joke, a wise crack, a funny story. She was a wonderful person to share time with in homeroom. I agree with all who spoke of her wonderful smile and personality. I am a better person for having known her. I was very pleased, though not surprised, to see all that she had accomplished in life. Rest in peace, Trish.

Trish was one of the most upbeat people I have ever met. High School was much brighter because of her. She was smart, fun and a friend to all. And a good athlete, too! My condolences and thoughts are with her family.

Trish always had a smile on her face -- and in her voice. She was a friend to so many in our high school class. And she dealt with her health issues with such grace. I am so sorry for your loss.

I only knew Tricia through the Adult Numeracy Network and T2T, where she was such an inspiration and a joy to work with; her enthusiasm made our math workshops so enjoyable-and it was great to be able to communicate her sense of fun with math to many math-phobic students. I am so sorry to hear of her passing, and all her friends and family have my deepest sympathy in the loss of such a special person.

I would like to pass on my condolences to the Donovan family. I knew Trish, but not nearly as well as most other people did. You could not ask for a friendlier person. She will be missed by all. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

I met Tricia through the Adult Numeracy Network - teachers working together to increase students' success. She turned that smile on me and I knew she had the unflagging zeal to help us all stay motivated. We will miss our president elect!

Trish made a difference in the world. Her positive attitude, zest for life and beautiful smile won the heart of all those who had the pleasure of meeting her. I was blessed with her friendship since Newman Jr. High. Memories of times together, playing sports, walking home from Sunday school, talking for hours on end and laughing are precious treasures I am fortunate enough to carry with me forever. My deepest sympathies to Tom, Michelle and the rest of the family

Dear Tom, Russell, Michele, and Brian,
Trisha always was one of the most positive and sweet "kids" of the Curve Street gang; she modeled throughout her life how to count one's blessings even when life's road was filled with many obstacles; how to find happiest by helping others.

We all will deeply miss her.

And so the sun nestles into the night always bright now unseen

I still remember the party Tricia had in her back yard in 7th grade like it was yesterday. She was one of the most special people I ever knew -- positive, upbeat, generous, thoughtful -- I adored her and miss her very much.

I was so sad to hear of Tricia's passing. She and I were part of the Mass ABE Math team in the early 90's and did a lot of work together in math education over the years. She was sweet and funny and always encouraging of teachers. She will be much missed in our field.

From the fourth grade onward, Tricia kept me laughing with her sense of humor and unique perspective on life. Her optimism and fun, positive outlook helped many of us get through those awkward adolescent and teenage years. With gratitude that she was a part of my life, and with deepest sympathy to Tom and her family, she will always be remembered with a smile.
