Edward S. "Slim" WALCZYK

WALCZYK - Edward S. "Slim" Of Ashville NY, passed away October 31, 2011 at Saint Vincent's Hospital in Erie Pennsylvania. Edward was surrounded by his family. Edward is the son of Walter E. Walczyk Sr. and Stella Hejna Walczyk. Edward is survived by his loving wife Irene (Reni) Hunter Walczyk. Edward is also survived by his four sons. Edward W. Walczyk and his wife Jennifer. Daniel H. Walczyk and his wife Shannon and their children Goose and Paige. Luke A. Walczyk, Matthew R. Walczyk and his fiancé Nicole Osbourn and their children Andrew & Alaiyna. Edward was a lifelong farmer, avid outdoorsman wood worker, auto mechanic, over the road trucker, and member of the Chautauqua County Snowmobilers Association. Edward found great joy in sharing the use of his farm land with others who love and respect it as much as he did. Edward is preceded in death by his old dog Andy-Boy. There will be no visitation or funeral services, however there will be a mass celebrating his life held at St. Aloysius R.C. Church Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Following mass there will be an open reception at the Springville Firehall on Route 39 in Springville. Flowers are gratefully declined, but donations may be made in Edwards name to the Chautauqua County Snowmobilers Association.
