Dearest Peter, David and Mark, when Leona called and gave me the sad news the day after your dad's death I felt sick inside. I equate your dad's goodness with that of my grandfather...two more honorable men I have never known. I am so sorry for your pain but I imagine a bright star is now shining because your parents have been reunited...may their souls finally rest in peace and the 3 of you soon find consolation in that. I love you. Linda

Dear Peter, Mark, David and all the Boushy Family.
I was shocked and extremly saddened of the sudden passing of your beloved father. Your Dad was a true gentleman, a friend and a brother to everyone. I am sure he is joined with your Mom, who also was a Queen and of same attributes. May God Bless their Souls and may their memory be eternal.

And, May God Bless you all with good health and strength now and always.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Jedo Charlie,
The moment I found out about your death, I fell into instant shock and grief. I have no words to describe the pain I felt at that moment and the pain I continue to feel of your absence. It was only a day before your death that me and my sister went over to your home to give you some pie and soup we made for you. It is this memory that hurts the most for me because little did I know this would be the last time I would ever see or speak to you again. Although you are gone now, I will always cherish the memories I have of you and the good times we have had together. You taught me to be a strong confident girl and you were always there to help me during my falls and praise me for my successes. You made a huge impact on my life and I will miss you greatly. I'm so happy for you that your reunited with Teta June again cause I know how hard its been to live life the past couple years without her. I love you so much Jedo and I already miss you so much.
Love,

Dear Peter, Mark, David and family. I was so saddened to hear of the passing of your dad. I will remember with fondness seeing your mom and dad coming over to our house to play cards and get together with my parents and their 'card gang'. Unnable to attend the wake or service since I will be away in Akwesasne, I send my condolences to the family, friends, and Dewaan colleagues of Charles Boushey, whom I remember distant but well as i was growing up, including his efforts with Dewaan which my father, George Tannis, was also involved with. The stablility of the famous Bousheys on Elgin street is refelctive of his own steadfastness, a fine family man, reserved but resolved community leader, and a quiet gold standard of the Lebanese presence in Ottawa. Dear Boushey Family:

We are very sorry to hear of the passing of Cousin Charles.

Charles was a community leader. He had the community's interest at heart and worked very hard for what he believed in. He built a proud future for himself and his proud family. I will never forget the day he called me when I was first elected as the Provincial Member Of Parliament in Sarnia, Ontario saying that we are proud Boushey family anywhere in Ontario. How true…. I am always proud to call him my cousin.

We will miss him and his great contribution to the Boushey Family and the city of Ottawa.

Please accept our deepest sympathies. Many thoughts are with you.

Sincerely,

Dear Shpeento Charlie,
I cannot believe that you are gone from us, but glad you will be together again with aunt June. I know the past few years were hard without her,you had all the family around you and you did your best. As i grew up, i realized what a pillar of strength you were on the outside but there was a gentle man on the inside which i grew to love and felt very close to.
Life changes with every step and we must all learn to accept and move on but it is so difficult each time a loved one departs.
I will miss you. Love you always.

Dear Dad,
I hope you'll somehow be able to read this letter wherever you are. Since that terrible phone call telling me about your passsing, I've felt nothing but indescriblable pain and loss. I try to stay strong, but when I'm alone, God sees how much I weep. I pray to Him to take away the pain and He helps me, but still, this is a wound that will take a long time to heal. You were the standard by which all gentlemen should be measured and I was fortunate to have had 43 years with you, in which to learn to be like you. I hope you are proud of me. I know the past two and a half years without Mom have been torture for you and I am glad you're with her again, but your death was so sudden, we didn't have a chance to say goodbye to you. I know you always said that you wished you would die suddenly and quickly like your own mother did and I'm happy that you got your wish. I love you Dad, I know you're in a happy place with Mom. Please give her a big hug ad kiss from me.
Love,
Mark.
