My best friend during our teenage years. When young adults need support from each other. You were the greatest. You were always so giving to me and I am sure that I never said thank you enough. We spent countless hours together at work. And, then we were inseparable after hours on our own time. You were such a great friend. I am so sorry the pain you had to endure during the last part of your life. But, you fought hard. And, at the same time. You somehow brought joy to everyone around you. I am so sorry that I didn't know about your illness. And, that I wasn't there for you. I would have loved to have been there to help support you. And, have a chance to give back a little to you. Although I hadn't seen you in many years. You were always in my thoughts. Hopefully one day. I will see you again to thank you for all that you did. I will miss you very much. Godspeed my friend. And, rest in peace now. Mrs. Gurley, Linda, Janet, Jimmie, and Billy whom I have never met. I am here for you anytime you may need me. Time will pass. And, the hurt won't be as bad. But, just know that Tommy is always with you. And, like all of you I will miss him dearly. Thank you William Thomas Gurley Jr. for being my friend.
