So sorry for the loss of your mother and sister. I haven't seen Judy for many years but cherish the memories I have of her. We met in fourth grade and remained friends into our early adult years; in fact she was maid of honor for my wedding in 1963. I can remember many sleep overs during that time. I also remember pogo stick competitions in her driveway. Can’t remember who the champion was – I think it changed frequently. Seems like it was usually 120 hops before falling off would win. I think around the fourth or fifth grade, my mother made us matching sun dresses. Picture this: white crinkly material with orange ties on the shoulders. We thought they were great. I think we wore them to the zoo together that year! I also remember listening to the Platters records down in the basement. We also would tell people I was 23 days, 12 hours and I can’t remember the minutes now older than she was. Funny what was important to us then. Sorry I couldn’t find any pictures to post. I think I have some but so far have not been able to find them. I hope you also will keep your cherished memories of Judy. She was a special person and a special friend.

She will certainly be missed by her many classmates from Woodward HS. Judy and I were to have lunch on Thursday which we had planned 2 months ago and just last week I heard how ill she was. She and her family are in our prayers. Love to all. Carol Pearce
