I'll always remember my first trip to Dallas because sweet Alice made it so special. I am so saddened to hear of the loss of such a fine, gracious southern belle. My heart goes out to her family members and I hope you find comfort in all of your memories of her.

There's no way to say what my sweet aunt Alice was to me--from age 6 in my earliest memory, until now. My shining light, my exemplar, my hero, my champion, confidant, mentor, my advocate. So very full of life, and fun, full of wisdom, humor, ever the optimist, a wit, and a little wicked! Always with a big grin and ready laughter. One smart cookie. And a true love in the purest, sweetest sense. I am bereft, and I love you so, your niece Loraine
