Joseph Felsburg Obituary
Joseph Lee Felsburg, age 45, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. He is the son of Harry H. Felsburg Jr. and Mary Charnik.
Joseph worked as a carpenter and enjoyed working on cars, NASCAR, karaoke and fishing. He was a loving and generous man who enjoyed spending time with his dog, Champ.
He is survived by father, Harry H. Felsburg Jr. of Wilmington, DE; mother, Mary Charnik of Bear, DE; daughter, Jessica Felsburg of Wilmington, DE; sisters, Alicia Martin of Dover, DE, Beverly F. Ash of Newark, DE, Elaine Hoffman and her husband, Fran of Bear, DE, Wanda Charnik Barton and Michele Lincoln; and nieces and nephews, Crystal Myers, Amber Myers, Petra V. Myers, Joseph Martin, Anthony Ash III, Nicholas R. Ash, Brandon Wallace, Christopher Wallace and Stephanie Paris.
Services will be held 11 am on Tuesday, March 29, at R.T. Foard and Jones Funeral Home, 122 W. Main Street, Newark, DE 19711. Friends and family may call on Monday, March 28, from 7 to 9 pm at. Burial will be at Cathedral Cemetery in Wilmington, DE following the service.

Joe, you and I were friends back from 77-80. Conrad Jr. High. We'd spend more than a little time just loving life and talking of the future. Your family was so nice to me. Your mom, your sisters Elaine and Felicia...you were all so nice.
Today, I put your name into Facebook in the hopes of finding you...and lo and behold,there was your smiling face. I'd sent a friend request and started perusing thru your wall. That's when I found someone had written R.I.P. below one of your pictures and my heart sank.
Joe, it was a million years ago and it was yesterday. We had our whole lives in front of us and nothing would have stopped us. I'm sorry to have lost touch with you. May you enjoy your Golden Slumbers old friend. I know I will miss you.

You'll always be in my heart...the kids and i will miss you dearly, you were a helluva step-dad and for that i will be eternally grateful. And I feel very blessed we were able to hold on to being best friends, I am so gonna miss the hours of conversations and the comfort of knowing we'd always be there for one another. I will always cherish our life together and all the memories our families share. May we all feel some sort of comfort and peace just knowing you are no longer hurting. I LOVE YOU...

Joe, you were my baby brother, but, somehow you turned into my big brother, too. You had a great big heart and you kept things real. Thank you for being my brother.
