I met Matt almost 20 years ago in an Anderson's General Store check out line. He was a caring person that never met a stranger and was full of life. Although each of us went our different directions over the years I always knew he was an amazing person. It was truly a privilege to have known him and it saddens me that his life ended so soon. My heart goes out to his parents, his wife Laura and most of all his children. May you always cherish good memories and hold them in your heart.

My prayers and condolences go out to Matt's family and friends. Matt was a great classmate and never failed to help anyone in need of a study buddy. I Linda Falcon remember when my son Andy Falcon was very little when we went to 10:00 am Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Catholic Church Matt, your son even though you sat several pews behind us use to tease Andy and make him laugh at loud in church till you told me. Matt was a very giving person. He had a pickup truck and a snow blade which he used to plow the streets of the neighborhood free of charge. He was a great father who loved his girls Audry and Eva.
Matt was more to me than just a neighbor; he was also a very good friend. He will be missed.

Condolences to Laura, the girls and all of Matt's family and friends at this very unfortunate and difficult time. I met Matt when I needed my driveway plowed this passed January. A high school friend had suggested him and being a single mom, it meant the world that somebody would take the time to help out...I have been praying for all of you. I pray that peace and understanding come with the love of God's ever-loving arms to comfort all of you. Scott Ness, I am sure has been of good help. I attend Upper Arlington Lutheran where Scott grew up. Matt's help with my driveway grew into a talk of our mutual nursing career and he was so helpful in giving me tips on what to study for.
