So sorry to hear about Willard. I know he will be missed terribly. My sympathy goes out to all the family and close friends. I kept up on Willard thru Charlie Glock. Willard and I knew each other during our high school years. I was lucky to have seen him again and meet Jean a few years ago at a small "concert". Again I am really sorry for your loss.

I met Willard about a year ago at the flying field, and he was one of the first people I got to speak to. He let me know that I came to the right place as he was so incredibly warm and accepting. I figured if all of the flyers were as half as accepting as he, I would be very fortunate. Willard, thank you for being so kind. You will be missed.

Having met Willard only a year ago and spending only good flying weather days with him, I never met such a peaceful man with a grand love for friends and associates. Open, honest, warm, kind, compassionate, accepting and willing without exception. Willard made my life richer by knowing him and made me a better man through his example. I will forever treasure his friendship and his memory. I pray his final landing is a soft one.
