Jason Martin Obituary
Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his mother, Sheila Martin; grandfather, Erbie Martin; grandmother, Helen Reeves; and brother, Shane Martin.
Survivors are his parents, James (Donna) Lumpkin, Gadsden; grandmother, Marlene Martin, Gadsden; sons, Chanler Peppers, Caden Turner, Cole Turner; sisters, Samantha Lumpkin (Bernard Lindsey) and April Lumpkin (Blake Deal); brother, David (Kimberly) Lumpkin; special friends, Millie Faulkner and Joseph; host of nephews.
Pallbearers will be Judd Womack, Donnie Hammett, Kevin Horne, Jeff Guyton, Skylar Cannon, Jonathan Davis, Marc Kilgore and Kenneth Riddlespur.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Morgan Funeral Chapel.

My Dearest Jason,
This is the day after you've been laid to rest and I cant stop thinking about you. ALL day, from my first thought in the morning til I fall asleep at night. I will never know anyone like you ever again. I feel like I was the lucky one, I had you for 21 years, as my friend. I will remember everything we shared as kids and the friendship we had as adults. I thank God now that days like yesterday will never have to be repeated, because as a friend you were my 1 true meaning of it. samantha and april i'm so sorry for your loss. The 2 of you are very strong girls that i've grown to love and also love your family, Jason was 1 of a kind, he had a strong heart and a very loving heart.. he's in a place now where he can no longer be hurt and is in a place where i sometimes can't wait to join. A lot of people loved jason for who he was.. I'm so sorry i wasn't able to a join you 2 and your family in this day of grieve.. I spent some of Jasons Last days with him where he gave great comfort to us older ladies waiting on us when lunch came taking up for us if he just though someone say something wrong to us ,I came to love him dearly he was one of A kind ,I will miss him,his family would have been proud of him,my thoughts and prays are with you.
