I met Nancy at a concert in Las Vegas in October. I was immediately drawn to her warm, bubbly personality. We kept in touch for several weeks following the show, and I am deeply saddened and shocked over this horrible news. She was an amazing, kind, friendly and generous person. My deepest condolences to all of her family and friends.

I just heard the terrible news today and want to express my sadness and condolence for your family. I only met Nancy once last October at a concert in Las Vegas, yet was genuinely touched by her fun and friendliness. We kept in touch in the weeks following the concert. Even though I knew her less than two months, that was all it took to see what a genuinely nice person she was. God bless you and your family.

Dear Mr.& Mrs. Smith:

I went to NYC over the holiday season & while there went to St. Patrick's Cathedral. I lit a candle for Nancy & sat quietly in a pew & gave my thoughts to her. Thank you for the life of Nancy that you made. For each life that she then touched was made better.

I wish you much peace this holiday season.

Words can not even BEGIN to express the pain and sense of loss I, as everyone else, feel over losing Nancy. I considered her to be not only my best friend, but a part of my extended family. I'll never forget all the fun we had, especially our annual jaunts to Vegas... (Which shall continue in her memory.)

I luv you Boo!

I am at a loss. I cannot believe the smiling face that greeted me and the voice that called to cheer me up is gone. Nancy, I will miss you so very much. I am so sorry I lost touch with you. I hope you are in a better place, where they play nothing but 80's metal and are surrounded by hunky guys with long hair wearing spandex. If you can see this, take heart in the fact that you had one thing alot of others do not. A warm personality and true friends.

Nancy;

I will miss hearing your bubbly voice on the phone when you 'harassed' me for information for the managed health care contracts. I knew you first in Chaminade chorus at NFA, complete with your "Bon Jovi" haircut, (your words, not mine) and then years later, we met up again due to work.

It won't be the same without you, and your family is in my prayers.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Barbara, Mark and Adam,

Although I never had the opportunity to meet each of you face to face, I always felt as though you were my extended family because of all the great memories and stories Nancy would tell me on a daily basis about each of you. She truly lived for her family.

It is beyond my comprehension that Nancy is no longer with us. Myself and many, many others will miss her dearly. If there is any consolation in all of this, I truly believe that Nancy is in heaven with my younger brother, Steve, working to make earth a better place for the people who are left behind.

I miss Nancy dearly. She was a wonderful friend to me. If I can do anything to help you through this difficult time, please don't hesitate to call on me.

We talked a lot about her studies and about her family. She loved all of you so much and she adored Adam. My heart goes out to all of you and you and Nancy are in my prayers.

I only met Nancy a few times as she graduated from NFA a few years before me. However, myself, my twin sister JoAnn and my older brother Frank had Mrs. Smith as a social studies teacher. My brother and I at South Junior High and my sister at NFA. I am sure that I can speak for my siblings when I say that we are deeply sorry for the smith family. Our hearts go out to them,

I can close my eyes and hear her laugh like it was yesterday. That infectious laugh that filled the room. Nancy is a very special part of my SJH & NFA memories. She was a very special friend to me and touched my heart in many ways. God must have been short on angels to have taken such a vibrant spirit so soon.I guess Heaven will be a little brighter now because of Nancy's smile. My thoughts are with the Smith family. I will share your tears. Love, Chrissy
