Hi baby. I miss your handsome face. I miss your laughter and joy, your hugs, watching you with Dylan I just miss your company and companionship. I want to say Happy Anniversary as today would have been our 25th. The day I married you was the happiest day of my life. We both looked forward to growing old together. I never thought I'd be on this planet without you. It's taken a lot of time and heartache to deal with your loss, but we have managed to find some joy again. I know that would make you happy. Dylan is no longer the little boy you so loved and cherished, but you would be so proud of the young man he has become. He has the kindest, most generous heart. He is so smart and funny. He misses you so much and has lost so much without you in his life these past 10 years.. We both love you and miss you so much Ron. This world, and our worlds, have never been the same since you left. Happy 25th Anniversary honey. You are still the most beautiful person I have ever met. I will always love you.

Jodi-I was so sorry to read about your loss. The whole town will miss him, especially the Democratic Town Committee. I met Ron at the Spaghetti Dinner when Nancy Pelosi came to speak, right before your election. (I was the one making all those baskets we raffled off, and the election cupcakes). I live in North Carolina now, but always care about what is happening in my old state. Bless you and your family-Claudia Judd-McGrath and the McGrath family. Wake Forest, NC

Dear Mr. Crabb,
Although I did not know you, I certainly feel like I did as your precious son Dylan is a mirror image of you, not only in appearance but also in character. You have passed along to him genuine compassion for people, a love and happiness for life and a smile that instantly brightens a room! Please know how much I care about Dylan and will do all I can for him while he is in my classroom. Respectfully, Mrs. Pamela Cannata

Dear Jodi and Dylan, My heart is so sad for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and my hugs are plentiful. I am here for you. With open arms, Mrs. Pamela Cannata

Dearest Jodi,

Living in VA we never seem to have the time to come back and visit. Makes reality so true and this life time is so short. One fond memory from his Uncle John Crabb was Ronnie would jump up and down on John's legs and tickle his feet when he was taking a nap on the couch. Of course this was when Ronnie was a young boy. We are so sorry to hear of the tragic loss.

Dear Crabb Family,

It is difficult to expess my sadness for your loss. I grew up with Ronnie and spent most of the time around him laughing non stop. Some of the fondest memories are of our sandlot baseball games that would go on for hours. I havent seen Ronnie in many years, but reading about him from all the people that adored him makes me proud to have called him my friend. God Bless Ron and his family and his Union Brothers during this difficult time.

I do not know the Crabb Family but I do know the loss you are feeling. I lost a very close brother at the age of 37 twenty-one years ago who had the same impact on his family, community and employer as Mr Crabb did. During that most difficult time I found a quote that gives me comfort still today when I think of how a great a loss we suffered as a family and a community. I will share it with you now.

We will grieve not rather find strength in what remains behind.

My dear Marilyn - I truly wish I had made an attempt to visit you in Spring Valley while I was in Chicago. I would then have had the pleasure of meeting Ron - now I'll just have to chalk this up as my biggest regret in my life. I'm sure Ron will be missed by all who knew him well. I'm so sorry for your loss and wish I was living closer to you enabling me to visit with you in your time of such utter sadness. Rest assured I'll meet up with you when I fly to Chicago one of these fine days. Meanwhile girlie, take good care of yourself and please know that my you and Carl are in my thoughts and prayers.

To the Crabb Family, I am extremely sorry for you loss. This is a tragic moment in the lives that knew Ron. He was a "stand-up" guy and gave so much of his time to our small community. I knew Ron through the Colchester T-Ball program. He volunteered his time for my son's T-Ball team and he was always eager to lend a hand for anything that required it. Your family is in our prayers.

Dear Marilyn, Carl, and Jodi:

Ronnie was a fun and loving nephew. We so remember our times together when he was growing up when we hunted, fished, trapped, and just laughed together. Ron was a special person and we would often say, one of the funniest guys we ever knew. He and our daughter (his first cousin), looked so much alike when they were growing up that we thought they looked like brother and sister. His sense of humor was unsurpassed. We will miss him as one of the special cousins. Our hearts ache and grieve with you. We know that he has a special place in our Lord's kingdom.
Our love to you all,

Ronnie and I began our UA apprenticeship program together back in 1992. We spent many long hard days commuting to work at 6am to cold, difficult job sites only to leave work and go to school until 10pm. Somehow Ronnie always made it fun. He was a loyal, honest, generous, kind and wonderful man. I have not spoken to Ronnie in ten years, but i have many many incredible memories with him. I will miss him greatly.
