I was saddened to hear of Tom's passing. I knew him from Ardrossan school, and from Frank coaching our baseball team. I remember Tom as being both a lot of fun and very kind - a lovely person. My condolences to your family.

I have good memories of growing up with Tom. I remember attending one of his birthday parties at his acreage in Ardrossan and we all had so much fun. He was a good person. My condolences to the Scobie family.

My folks just called to let me know they saw Tom's obituary in the paper. It was very sad news indeed. Tom was my first true buddy and friend when we were growing up in Ardrossan. We enjoyed many fun hours riding bikes and shooting things with our pellet guns and hanging out in Tom's tree house - our own Huck Finn adventures. My sincere condolences to Tom's family.
