Happy Mother's Day Momma! Yesterday day was 12 years that you was taken from us but it still seems like yesterday. There is a big void in our lives and will always be. You are so loved and missed by so many. Your beautiful face and smile will forever be etched in our minds. You were the strongest woman I knew raising 7 children and working to support us. I know you earned your rest but, we weren't ready to see you go. So I say Happy Heavenly Mother's Day to You, Grandma, Mary Ann , Katie and all my Aunts. We are truly blessed to have you all looking down upon us and being our guardian angels though our hearts are broken. Love and miss you every day.

Hard to believe that on this day Friday the 13th, five years ago I had to say goodbye and let you go. My heart was heavily burdened with sadness but, at the same time I was relieved that you was no longer suffering in pain. I cherished each and every minute of every day that I spent with you. Believe me when I say there is not a day that does not go by that you are not thought of and so dearly missed. Your passing taught me to realize just how short our lives on this earth really are and that you don't take for granted that we will always be here. I wasn't ready for you to go yet but, I knew that morning you were ready to begin your new life with God and you went peacefully. I will always LOVE you and Miss you MOMMA!

Memorial Day is a time for family gatherings, picnics or maybe even a visit to their loved ones final resting place. Today I will do all three of these, we are gathering out at Bob's with alot of family and friends for a cookout. I will also be stopping by your resting place and will be remembering all the gatherings that we had over the years, all the good times that we spent together as a family. Memorial Day comes once a year but, for me it is each and every day because I hold dear every memory. I send my love to each and everyone of you as you celebrate the holiday in Heaven. Stopped by yesterday and left a card for you from someone very special, I had promised her I would. there is not one day that doesn't go by that one or all of us does not think about you. Noticed someone else had been to visit you as well and left a beautiful floral saddle that had Easter eggs in it. I lay here in my bed and look at your picture on this website and think WOW! you were just so beautiful inside and out. Doesn't seem possible still today that our time together on this earth was so short. Easter falls on your birthday this year so I am sure there will be a lot of celebrating going on. I still have all the wonderful memories of our childhood (the homemade dresses, the dinner plates with Easter grass ,candy and colored eggs on it that served as our Easter baskets). I will always have these memories to cherish but, I just wish you and the rest of our family members were here to relive them. Merry Christmas momma. I know it must be wonderful there in Heaven. #6 went out and decorated your's, Grandma's and Grandpa's graves and it is wonderful. But of course you know that.
We had a small get together last night and shared a lot of laughs and memories. But you were truly missed as you are every day. Dearest Mother of ours. As you know Christmas is 25 days away. As I think back over the years I have two Christmas's that I cherrish above all. The first one that is above all is when you gave us our baby brother, the youngest of the seven. When you brought Bobby home it was a very special Christmas present to us all. My next best Christmas was when you took us all to the Salvation Army, gave us each a dollar( that was like a hundred dollars today) and let us pick out whatever we wanted for Christmas. I don't remember what everyone elce got but I got my Linclon Logs. That was so special that I still give what ever I can to the Salvation Army at this time of year. We all want to remember what Christmas is all about. The birth of Jesus Christ our Lord. May your day in Gods house be a blessed one. We love and miss you. Merry Christmas Mother.

Mother, with the comming Thanksgiving fast approaching I find my mind wanders back in time. This is the weekend that so many gathered together to give thanks and do a little rabbit hunting. I miss those day and I really really miss your rabbit, biscut and grave breakfeast. I try to cook your fried green tomatoes but just cant get it right. Maybe next time I try your hush puppys maybe you can give me a hand as I cann't seam to get them right either. We all love and miss you.

Well momma we are all sure going to miss you on Thanksgiving as we do each day. I know you will be with us in mind and spirit but, I sure wish you were making the oyster dressing instead of me. Well, we made it to Decatur and Billie got the bed home okay. We did have to go to Sears and get our air-conditioning recharged. $125. But that was cheap compared to the unscheduled stop??? at Peoria. And then at Jumers before we arrived at home. BUT we had fun, your brother and I. Just as long as we are together, it doesn't matter if we have money or not. Or not?? Ha! Ha! Thanks for watching the traffic for us. I did let him drive MY truck a couple of times, though. Hi Bonnie, we are coming to Decatur today. Bringing a bed there to give to Billie. She is meeting us midway. She lives near Indianapolis. So we are meeting her at our favorite restaurant in town ( Hometown Buffet) We are going to miss you there. And Beverly and Mary Agnes, too. But we'll be thinking about you and talking about you all. We have to tie down a mattress and box spring set in our truck and drive it there. Keep an eye out for us and keep the traffic out of our way please. It was one year ago today that I watched you with a peaceful look upon your face as you took your last breath and slipped away from us, I do find comfort in knowing that you no longer suffer and are now looking down upon us and watching over us.... we gathered yesterday as a family and we gather today as one to pay honor to one of the most loved Mothers anyone could ever of asked for....a special service at your church is planned with of course (you) highlighting the day.... there will be a large memorial made to your church in your honor and I understand it will be used for many different things all of which you truly believed in and cared about... one being there will be renovations done to the childrens room and it will be dedicated in your name...Happy Mothers Day Momma!!!!! Loving and missing you everday!!!!

Well dear mother as I am sure you know, all of your children will gather today in your honor. We know you know how much we all love and miss you so this is our way of sharing your memory. Tomorrow on Mother's Day, and the anniversary of your going to be with God we will all attend church and make your final contribution to J J in your honor. He is thrilled that we will be there in your honor.
It has been a long year for all of us. We miss and love you so much. But today we will have a day of remembering all the good times and fun we have had over the years while you were with us. We are still doing our sibling lunches the 3rd Thursday of the month and we have a lot of good conversation and laughs.
So momma you have a wonderful day in heaven this mother's day. Enjoy your family and friends that are there with you and know we love you dearly.

Happy Birthday to the most amazing person I got so blessed to know in my life....I stopped by today and spent some time with you, put up some balloons and left a card that said everything about my feelings and love for you...wish I could say it in person but, that time will come and I know you were looking down with the biggest smile...remembering your last birthday with us and the surprise you had when you saw how many of your family and friends had come to wish you a happy birthday....I found your little yearly planner and was so touched by how you made an entry that day of the surprise and included everyone that showed up....I remember taking you back to your room and you thanking me for the surprise party that you knew I had gotten toghether it wasn't too often that we got to pull one over you...missing you today as in every day and loving you just as much....Happy 85th Birthday Momma....LOVE YOU!

Well momma I wish I could pick up the phone and call to sing to you today. But I am sure this will be the best birthday you have ever had. What better place to spend it than with the Lord. I know you are with lots of family and friends so you will have many wishes for today to be a great day. I love you and sure do miss you. I only wish I could put my arms around you and give you a kiss. But that day will come and we can celebrate our birthdays together again. Hugs, kisses and all my love on this your day.

Well it has been awhile since I have been on here... alot going on ....getting ready for a fantastic Mothers Day in your honor and making a contribution to your church in your name...all the siblings and spouses are planning a get together and attending Sunday morning service this Mothers Day...can't believe it will be one year that you left us and ironically that one year falls on that special day...the sad part of it all is that I will be closing out your bank account.....I know we had talked about what I was to do with the money from the sale of your car but, after talking to my siblings we all felt the best thing to do with your money was to keep your memory alive in something you truly believed in and that was your faith and your church...MISSING YOU AS MUCH TODAY AS IN EVERYDAY.....LOVING YOU ALWAYS!!!!!
