My deepest condolences to the Mintz family...
I just was made aware of this today.... It broke my heart. I had the pleasure of meeting Lynn and her wonderful family a few years back. She was such an icredible soul...She had this uncanny way of making one feel so at peace and ease..... Always so peaceful and kind to others. Someone who was a role model to all. Its amazing how after all this time... I was so affected by this terrible news. God bless her family today and always.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends. She was so vibrant, that it's hard to believe she is gone, and so young, too. She was always kind and such a comfort and helper to so many, including me. What a terrible loss.

I shared Lynn's office at FCS for a few years and always turned to her for guidance when needed. She always made me feel welcome and comfortable when I needed a gentle touch. I know her work impacted so many lives for the better, as I hope mine will. Her giggles echo down the hall...

As Lynn's former client, I developed a close rapport with her for roughly five years. Lynn was able to help me change my view on life for the better, one visit at a time. I feel very fortunate to have known her. My sincerest condolences go out to the Mintz and Dardick family.

We personally met Lynn nearly 3 years ago (but knew her through Beverly for many more) and were so very fortunate to have those times with her that we did. We love you all; her memory is for us a blessing.

Lynn was for me the epitome of life. No one would have known her struggle with cancer because she was all about living and living to the fullest. Her grace, grit and gentleness were just part of her essence. This was a woman of soul...a very rare jewel. My deepest and heartfelt sympathy to Sandy and her children.

Lynn's courage in the face of loss and illness has always touched me deeply. She faced life with a quiet dignity, grace and a true zest for life. I often felt she was here for such a short time to teach us all. I have a feeling now that Lynn will continue to touch and teach me for the rest of my life. I want to be like her when I grow up. I am still in mourning even though I haven't seen Lynn for years. That is proof to me that some people stay in your thoughts and hearts for years because they are just that special and unique! Be kinder than necessary – this is how Lynn was naturally regardless of what she was going through. She was not only a colleague but a dear friend. I had the pleasure to work with her for the past nine years. Every day she was in the office she made sure to stop by to say “hello” and “how are you?” We had many long conversations over the years. I will always remember her smile and her laugh. I am blessed to have spent the time with her I did. She touched many peoples’ lives in various ways and has been an example to me of how to live life to the fullest and without regret. She had a “specialness” about her and brought light where there was darkness. Her light will shine forever. I love you and miss you dearly.

Words can not express the loss that we feel at Family Counseling Services (www.familycounseling.org). Lynn was an inspiration to all of us. She worked for the Journey Institute with survivors of sexual violence for 12 years. She was loved by staff and her clients. She was my co-therapist and my friend. She was always smiling, never complained, made others feel at ease. She was such a proud mother and grandmother. I miss her greatly.
