David Stoufflet Obituary
David "Lil Dave" Adam Stoufflet Jr., 61, a native and resident of Chauvin, died at 12:56 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, 2011.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Samart Funeral Home of Houma. Religious services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with burial at St. Elie Cemetery in Chauvin.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Ann Leonard Stoufflet; two daughters, Angela S. Matherne and husband, Rodney, and Cindy S. Blanchard and Ryan "Snoopy"; two sisters, Nelwyn "Nell" Henry and husband, Aaron, and Beverly Bourg and Lyes Jr.; and four grandchildren, Ryan Matherne, Taylor Bourgeois, Harley Stoufflet and Vallie Blanchard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David Adam Sr. and Vallie Marie Dubois Stoufflet; and one sister, Shirley Stoufflet.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.

Linda, I am so sorry, I pray everyday for you and your family and I know Lil Dave is watching over you, He was a Great Man and my best friend,I never knew how much a part of my life he was, I think about him evryday, if you need anything you know where I am.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. I haven't seen Dave in many, many years. I remember him from when I worked at Universal Iron Works. He was truly a great person.
