To my most dearest friend Judi and the rest of the family (April 11, 2011)
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. I have such fond memories of your mother, Judi, starting from the time that our long years of friendship began in junior high school. She was always very warm and kind to me and always made me feel welcome and special and like another daughter. She had a great sense of humor, and I can still see her smile. I can still remember the family gathering (birthday party, as I recall) that I came to at your aunt's house a number of years ago. I was glad that I was able to see her then. At that time, she and I recalled again how far back our friendship began and what good times we had. I am glad she is not enduring anymore pain, but I know that you all are feeling the loss. I hope that receiving thoughts from your close friends that are thinking of you at this time will help provide a comfort to all of you.
With my deepest hearfelt sympathy and my love to all,
Vinnie
