Audrey Mellis Obituary
Of Texas Twp.
Passed away June 9, 2011 as a result of an accident. She was born June 19, 2009 in
Kalamazoo to Chad and
Stephanie (Chappell) Mellis, who survive. Audrey brought great joy to everybody she was around. She enjoyed being outside and spending time with her friends and the special people in her family. She is missed by many and will never be forgotten. Also surviving Audrey are her grandparents, Toni Grabner, David Chappell and Kim (Randy) Mellis; great grandparents, Guy (Wilma) Rabidoux, David (Marilyn) Chappell, Corky MacClaren and Virginia Mellis; aunts and uncles,
Michelle Mellis, Justin Guritz, Susan Chappell, Steve Chappell and Laura (Stas) Tinigin. Funeral services will take place Wednesday, 2:00 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., where family will greet friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 o'clock. Interment will follow the funeral service, at Hope Cemetery, Texas Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Audrey's name, to the Lincoln Park Zoo, 2001 N. Clark St., Chicago, IL 60614 or by going to wwww.lpzoo.org. Please see www.langelands.com for online obituary, directions, register book and condolences.

I know this! in her short life, Audrey was loved for a lifetime! Audrey was so lucky to have the Chappell's and Mellis' for her family. Steph and Chad, thank you for allowing me to meet Audrey, I was the lucky one. The Sr's and I at CSJ are praying for you and your families, My heart is completely broken, but my comfort is knowing that she was loved and adored by two wonderful parents and family.

My mom pointed out her hand-print on our window; and we thought about Audrey looking at the horses -
I looked through all of the pictures of Audrey and her family and saw love.
I walked through the garage singing Bow romp bah chomp; and I smiled because I knew that Audrey will always be with us; in our hearts.

Audrey was such a doll, and had so much love in her life. Two wonderful parents whom u could see adored her just by watching them with her. I wish her parents did not have to feel the pain they are going through! Thoughts and prayers are with the whole family.
