March 8, 1958 - September 28, 2013 Rick Hadley, 55, passed away on September 28, 2013 doing what he loved best... Free Diving. Rick was born on March 8, 1958 in Newport Beach, California to William and Joan Hadley. He attended Newport Harbor High School, and went on to graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder. They had two beautiful children, Nikki and Jack, and were together for 22 years. Following the sale of the business, Rick purchased a bottled water company named Hawaiian Springs. He rebranded the product, and had been working toward making it into the finest water company of the Hawaiian Islands and the global market. Rick's passion from an early age was the ocean, and he became an accomplished Free Diver and Spear Fisherman. He will be greatly missed and is survived by his mother Joan Hadley, children Nikki and Jack Hadley, sister Pam McCloskey (Bob), and brother Steve Hadley. A celebration of Rick's life will be held Thursday, October 10 at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach at 11:00am.
