I read the obit of James Dupont"Jimmy" Byrd,II and was sorry to hear of his death. I would like to know if any of the family has done their BYRD genealogy ? My husband (William "Bill" Rucker Wynn,Sr.) mother was Sara G. Price married John Huel Wynn,Sr. Sara gave us the genealogy of Price/Byrd 2 years before she died, which shows her grandmother ,grandfather & great grandfather & great grandmother.
I would appreciate it very much if you would email me so I can give you all of our lineage(Wynn/Price/Byrd)..I am a member of DAR & have done most of the genealogy, but still lack some of the correct names of the ancestors.
Thanks for your help by emailing [email protected] (Rebecca Wynn & Wm. R. Wynn, Sr.)

You mowed the best damn lawn in the neighborhood with those everlasting green duckhead shorts handed down from trey. We had "hot pepper eat'n contests" when you were'nt looking, we filled your yard and driveway to play basketball, football and baseball in the big front yard. Trey had raging parties and being across the street we often had water balloon wars from the roofs. That el Camino with the "CCC" spit cup is eternal. You can also blame those missing "krystal like" burgers from your freezer on us too :) You were a great dad and an awesome neighbor. You will be terribly missed and the way you screamed for "trrreeeyyyy!" when he was in trouble will always bring a smile to my face. hehe. I can think of a million funny stories just the same. u rocked mr byrd! RIP

To the Entire of Jimmy Byrd,
We are sorry for the loss of Jimmy Byrd. He was our neighbor and we loved him so much. And yes he did have a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor about himself. We are at a loss as well. Every spring he and my husband would plant tomatoe plants and sunflowers all around the front of the houses. We will always remember Jimmy. Although he's out of pain and definitely in a better place, we only wish he could've had more time here to remain being a part of our everyday lives. God Bless you all. Hold on to the memories and cherish them until we all meet him again.
