Joyce Ingram Obituary

Joyce L. Ingram Galesburg Born October 25, 1929, in Lansing, Michigan, the daughter of Darby and Vera Shortridge passed December 8, 2010. Joyce was a graduate of Michigan State College where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. After graduation she was secretary to the Dean of Admission at the college. She was a former member of The Peoples Church. Joyce was a long time owner operator of Old Village Antiques in Williamston. She enjoyed cross stitching and quilting. Joyce was a registered AKC breeder of English Cocker Spaniels which was her heart and participated with the Heart of Michigan English Cocker Spaniel Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin R. Ingram. Joyce is survived by her son, Greg Ingram and family of Galesburg. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 14 at Noon at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave, East Lansing with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. A reception will follow the service at 4143 Wabanings Rd., Okemos. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan, 222 N. Kalamazoo Mall, Ste., 100, Kalamazoo, MI 49007 or Alzheimer's Association, Michigan Great Lakes Chapter, 310 N. Main, Ste., 100, Chelsea, MI 48118 in memory of Joyce.
