Margaret Moore Obituary

Margaret V. "Ginny" Moore Holt Margaret Moore, a long-time resident of Holt, Michigan passed away November 10, 2010 at the age of 89 years old. She was born April 12, 1921, in Coleman, MI. Margaret, also known as "Grandma Ginny" to many was a "tell it like it is" type of woman. She loved the game of baseball and was a true Detroit Tigers fan. She made it a point to never miss watching a game. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Ginny was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. She had worked at Wyeth Company in Mason until their closing. Surviving are: daughter, Carol Chiesa; son, James (Cheryl) Mills; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson; She was preceded in death by: her husband, Thomas Moore; her son, Robert Mills; her daughter, Joanne Mills; her parents, Frank and Bessie Kelly; her siblings, Leo and Lorne Kelly and Francis Powers; and her son-in-law, Alan Chiesa. The funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2010, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 3815 S. Cedar St., Lansing, with The Rev. Fr. John A. Byers as celebrant. The Rite of Committal will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to Michigan Special Olympics or to her church. Arrangements by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.
