Terry Lee Worthington

Terry Lee Worthington Lansing Terry L. Worthington, 54, passed away unexpectedly on November 19, 2010. He was born March 20, 1956 in Lansing, MI and was a lifelong resident. Terry coped with the results of a traumatic brain injury for many years and still remained the loving and caring person he always was. Throughout Terry's life he excelled in many different activities. As a young man, Terry developed a passion for sports and his proudest accomplishment was playing football and basketball for the Grand Ledge Comets. He was a standout athlete during his time at GLHS. Later on in life, Terry developed an appreciation for music, specifically Jimi Hendrix. He is survived by his loving mother and caregiver of many years, Lenore Worthington; brothers, Tony (Stacy) and Ted (Teresa) Worthington; sister, Kimberly Worthington; and three special nieces: Anissa (Beau) Worthington Montgomery, Krista and Megan Worthington. He was predeceased by his father, Howard Worthington. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2010 - 11:00 a.m. at the Peters & Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge, with interment to follow at Deepdale Memorial Gardens, Lansing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to service time.
