Charlie this came to me as a sudden disbelief as i knocked on your door just a few days ago to say hello and let you know of my new ventures in racing, it was the only time you didn't greet me at the door. I was not aware of the news. You were a great mentor at work, and an even better friend, and great coach. I am speechless, I'm glad you got to see me race at Waterford this year it meant a ton. To the family, from the bottom of my heart I am sorry for your loss, Charlie will be greatly missed. Charlie the short 5 years i knew you wasn't nearly long enough. I'll miss you bud.

We are very sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. I grew up in the same neighborhood, two streets away, and I went to school with him 1st to 12th grade. Played together as kids and had a lot of fun for many years. Great Guy! Sorry we did not spend more time together in later years. My he rest in peace. Our deepest sympathy to his familiy.

I have some great memories of our past racing days at the Park and elsewhere. I'm sure Charlie would agree that those days were some of the best days of our lives. RIP Charlie, I believe that the golf courses are always plush and green where you will be. Keep your head down and hit'em straight.
