Jack, I was a former Ma Bell employee with you and I am truly sorry for your loss. I also lost my husband and I know how hard it can be. God Bless and stay strong. I never knew we were neighbors, as I lived in Largo. I just moved to Connecticut.

From October 12, 2013. Thank you to all of my wonderful friends who offered thoughts and prayers through this terrible time. Mom died yesterday after the bravest battle with cancer I have seen. Through it all she lived each minute to the fullest. Our family has lost the most wonderful wife, mother and grandmother you could imagine. For those of you who never had the gift of meeting her I am sorry for your loss. Those who knew and loved my mom I am even more sorry for your loss for you truly know what I mean. My mom has shaped me into who I am today and will live in mine and my families heart forever. I love you mom. In my heart I know the angels have sped you into the arms of our family past

Joan was always very particular about how the Blue Nun should look. We would share a good laugh when she would make a last minute adjustment to my costume and say, "Well, it's not bad..." Thanks, Joan.
