Manuel Andrade Memoriam
What first looked like a transient dying as he slept in his San Jose encampment has apparently turned into the city's second homicide of the year.
Danny James Klontz, 51, of San Jose, has been charged with the beating death of Andrade on the first day of the year, officials reported Wednesday.
