Melissa Correa Obituary

Melissa Ann Correa passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Friday, April 1st, 2011. She was born June 4th, 1962, in San Jose, California where she lived her entire life. She is survived by her loving family; parents Arnold and Patricia Correa, sisters Carole Morris and Barbra Correa, and brothers-in-law Al Morris and Jamie Atwell. A graduate of Blackford High School, Melissa attended Evergreen Valley College and San Jose State University, majoring in psychology. She loved travel, the music of Keith Urban, and cheering for her beloved 2010 World Champion San Francisco Giants. Known by everyone for her sweet and caring nature, she reveled in her role as Auntie Lis to nieces Alyson and Kiera. A Memorial Service is to be held Wednesday, April 6th at 1pm. at LIMA-CAMPAGNA-ALAMEDA MISSION CHAPEL, 600 S. Second Street, San Jose, California.
Donations may be directed to March of Dimes.

When I read the paper today I was sadden to see that Melissa was gone. I also went to school with her at Monroe and Blackford HS. We always had a great time no matter what we were doing.
I will miss her but cherish the memories.

To Arnold, Patricia, Carole, Barbra and extended family...I was so sorry to learn of Melissa's passing, I went to Monroe and Blackford HS with her and she was always so upbeat, if a bit shy...the world is not as bright without her. Rest with the angels, Melissa~
