My prayers are with the family. Ms. Gilbert was one lady I remember from my childhood in Whistler. I was a frequent visitor to the offices of Dr.s Greene, Pennington, & Coleman. Miss Janie was one of the reasons I chose to enter the nursing field, after I graduated from high School. I also remember Mrs. Burnett and Shirley Butts. Ms. Janie was a wonderful lady and she will be missed by a lot of us old Whistlerites. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and May perpetual light shine upon her.
