As a yr had past, though it doesn't seem that long that you have been gone from us. We so miss you buddy. You are so much still in our hearts today as you were then. We know you are still with us, just though in different way. Will always keep you close to our hearts, and know you are dearly missed. You were a dear close friend and we considered you part of our family as well. I am so glad we spent time together the few weeks while u were here. It was weird that the wedding pics we had that you were in the family pic in which you should had cuz u were considered family to us and always will be. Miss you so much and always will. A year has now passed and life for me feels less natural and much less complete than when your form filled its' proper place among those of us who shall love you always. The warmth that once came from the light in your eyes and your genuine smiles and hugs shall forever linger. For the gift of you I remain thankful and continuously grateful...For the loss of you, I feel it is often you yourself that helps me in my times of both pain and understanding. As not even all the deeply grievous sorrow of losing you can undo any portion of the profound warmth and joy which you gave nor diminish my willingness to submit to it all over again however brief our time would be together. On this Father's day I think of you my forever son...The wonderful father you'd have made. No fortunate child will come to know the young man that would gladly and unselfishly surrender all to provide the unconditional love and devotion of a true father.
I can still remember our talk when you were but 19 years old. How you said if you came to have a child, you'd be quite happy to devote your time, love and energy to provide the care and responsibility he or she would need. I, of course respondingly voiced the many concerns, responsibilities and scenarios that impact a child's life. Particularly timing and the challenging opportunity of a finding a dually committed and compatible relationship for a child's harmony.
Nonetheless, the hint of such an idea definitely laid a joyful glint in your youthful eyes as you responded with an, "Well, I certainly wouldn't mind one of my own someday at all." How I treasure both then and now the ways your true inner capacity for love, respect and loyalty somehow managed to trump even your deepest of disappointments. Your ever present appreciation of the smallest of things, perception of what devotion means to family unity and your recognition of the importance of truth...Had pre-qualified you for any fatherly position you may have come to fill.
So hear how proud I am of "who you are" Adam in yesterdays, today and all tomorrows. The grandchildren I'll not see are among the many worldly gifts from you that are not to be. Yet, you yourself came gift enough for the precious 26 years and 4 months you breathed the same world as I.
So "Happy Father's Day, son." From those fortunate “might've been” children and your mom that feels lucky just knowing it. Somehow, someway I know you're gleefully in charge to your heart's content.

On behalf of my son Adam and his love and devotion to riding Harley Davidson Bikes...I searched a short time back and found that A Memorial Wall has been established at Battlefield Harley-Davidson in Gettysburg, PA where friends and family can place a Memorial Plaque for those meeting the criteria as a riding enthusiast. I've placed the order and within a few weeks...The name "L.A." - Adam W. Baker - 1985-2012 shall join the others that hang upon this Memorial Wall. I understood the many beautiful sides to his wonderful spirit and know that he'd be proud (and smilingly lifting his chest out & shoulders up a little, too.) I, his Mom, remain proud of who he was as I always shall. Adam, you've forever changed the meaning of time for me as now, it means every second passing means I'm one more second closer to you. Whether he was with a club or an independent, a fallen rider is a tragedy. But as all good things come to an end, our fellow brother has passed on to ride with Jesus. No more unsafe roads or bike troubles because there are no hazards on God's golden streets. Adam "L.A." was only at Mississippi Coast H-D for 1 year 1 month, but during that time he made his place in our hearts. I treasure the thoughts I have of different conversations and jokes with him. It is hard to believe that Thursday afternoon when I walked a check out to him just before he got on his bike to leave, will be the last time I will see him until I see him beyond the golden gates. My prayers go out to everyone in the Baker family and all who will miss him as we do. I have faith he is our Guardian Angel now. We love you and miss you Adam!

What a personal way to say farewell to someone who meant so many different things to each of us. Everyone from family to friends, who contributed to Adams service today, TRULY had Adam (and their personal relationship with Him) in their heart.
