It has been 9 years my brother. It seems like yesterday and I miss you so much! The wife and kids are doing great, and you would be so proud of them all! I know you look down upon them, but we got your back while they're here on this earth. We all hope to see you again, sooner than later!

I was very saddened to hear of Dwayne's passing. I have very fond memories of him from my days at BellSouth. I remember him as a strong man of faith and character.

When I was approximately 10 years old, Dwayne was one of my swimming teachers in Foley. When the class was instructed to swim across the deep end of the pool, I wanted to swim across but was to afraid. Dwayne said to me, "I'll swim with you". That day I stood on the shoulder of a giant. Yesterday I swam a distance down the Tennessee River for you, my teacher and inspiration!

Sherry, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I am so thankful that I got to spend Dwayne's 50th birthday with you and him along with Lynn, Roddy, T-Tommy, Henry, and Dwayne's Dad. Lynn, thanks for setting all of that up. It was a great time and one that I will always remember. Dwayne fought hard against a terrible disease. He will always be remembered for the wonderful person that he was.

So sad to hear of Dwayne's passing. I last saw him at my Dad's funeral in 2007. I always picture him with a smile and in his baseball uniform. My heart goes out to Sherry, his kids, Gabby, Wanda, Lynn and Wendy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My prayers are with Sherry and her childern.I remember when Sherry and Dwayne met at Patrick Henry. I spent alot of time sitting on those bleachers with Sherry watching Dwayne play baseball. May God give Sherry and the kids peace and strength in knowing he is at peace and is no longer in pain.

It was a sad text that I received from my Mom telling me of Dwaynes passing. Dwayne and I were high school teammates and good friends. I had not seen him in many years, but I look forward to seeing him in heaven with our lord. To the Gregson family,my family will keep your family in our prayers.

Sherry, I always will remember the first time I saw Dwayne. You & Kristi insisted I go to the ballgame with you and you said,"He's got the cutest little butt". He did love his family and think he found great joy in his life with you. God bless you all.

I had the rare privilege of growing up and playing ball with Dewayne. He was always an inspiration on and off of the field. Thank you Dewayne for the treasured memories. Our hearts and prayers are with the entire Gregson Family. God Bless All!

i remember the swimming pool and high school with dwayne. he was the sweetest boy ever, and obviously carried that sweet thoughtful nature throughout his adult life. can't wait to see you again my friend.

Sherry, it's been a long time since I've seen you and Dwayne but you've both been in my thoughts and prayers. I'm thankful that he is no longer in pain and God will give you and the kids the strength to go on for a little while until you meet him again. Sherry, God gave you the strength to endure during the years of Dwayne's illness and He will continue to comfort and strengthen you and the children during the years to come. I believe that Dwayne is at rest with the Lord now and that those of us who believe in God will see him again in Heaven some day. Dwayne was indeed one of the nicest people I've ever known. He was always a pleasure to work with and I admired him for that. Wish I could say the same about myself.

I always remember Dwayne as the guy with the continueous smile. I don't think I ever saw him that he didn't have a smile on his face and a kind word to share.
Sherry, my prayers are for God to give you and the children the strength to go on and live the life Dwayne wanted for his family. He is living a pain free life now with his Heavenly Father. May God keep you and your family in His loving arms.

Some of my favorite memories are of the gang water skiing at Lake Martin, eating chicken wings at Joey's, the surprise birthday party at his house and the AC/DC concert. May Dwayne's memory be a blessing to all that knew him and may he rest in peace.

Dwayne was a great guy and I enjoyed being around him. I worked with him for several years and hung out with him outside of work some as well. He valiantly fought and sustained several more years with friends and family. I'm glad he got to do that and now that he is gone, he will be greatly missed. God Bless you Dwayne and my thoughts and prayers go to you and your family in this time.
