CAROLYN SCHNITZER Obituary

Schnitzer, Carolyn Griggs, age 64, of Montgomery, AL. passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012. She was preceded in death by Tom Berrey and her loving parents, Carroll and Alta Griggs. She is survived by her loving children; C.J. (Liz) Stewart, Ginger (Mark) Gregg, Russell Stewart, FTSN. Michael Schnitzer, US Navy; grandchildren, Jordan, Logan, Ally, Erica and Zach. Funeral services will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. Dale Huff and Reverend Gary Burton officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Serving as pallbearers will be, Bill Allen, Ben Atkinson, Lavone Burdette, Brody Fisher, Ian Lasner and Michael Lockridge. Honorary pallbearers are, Herb Meadows, Blake Mitchell, Roger North and Bill Smith. Leak Memory Chapel Directing.

Russell and Family,

We were deeply saddened to hear of your loss. Your mom was a wonderful woman and we were just crazy about her. One of Mike's fondest memories is dancing with her at Ben & Tiff's wedding. I remember her for her humor and her wonderful laugh. She's gonna give the Lord a devil of a time!!!

Prayers for all the family of Carolyn. We were classmates in High School. So very sad to learn of her death. Thoughts are with everyone.
