Katharine dear, we were so sorry to learn of Jim's passing. I wish that I had known him better, for I am certain that he was a true man of God. Know that we are thinking of you and your family at this difficult time. "God gives us love . . . something to love He lends us."

You are in our prayers. We attended the service on yesterday and it was just what Jim would have wanted. He was alive in that place in all of those around you who loved and respected him. We are blessed to have been touched by him for these more than thirty years. Please know we are here for each of you. God bless.

Dr. Walter believed in me and gave me responsibilities when it was not popular to do so for an African American female. I saw God in him and I am glad that he is truly with our Lord. I will remember always. Sandra Oliver Harrison, Columbus, GA.
