I am so sorry that I only just found out I would have loved to have been there to pay my respects to Mrs. Hughes and the family. The most memorial and enjoyable times of my life began with me meeting Marianne and her family. The closeness, the love and all the fun and laughter that took place in that house - not to mention the fact that no one could cook fried chicken like Mrs.Nita Hughes. She alway made you feel welcome and at home and never let you leave hungry. I know she will always be looking after her family and I am happy that she is no longer suffering. Ms. Nita you were and are a true angel you touched many lives and mine was one of them. My thoughts and prayers are with those left behind that soon what now seems to be an unbearably painful and empty void be filled with all the wonderful memories of you. God Bless You All.

Although my heart is broken, I am glad my precious mother is at peace and with the Lord. No longer in pain, discomfort, or misery. I know I'm being selfish, but I miss you Mom and always will. I love you. Marianne

While our hearts grief the absence of our precious "Mrs Nita," we rejoice in knowing she shall soon greet each of us with that delightful smile of full-hearted love. How often her smile has encouraged the troubled and low of heart! A lady of godly kindness whose perseverance models the tenacity of a mighty believer in Christ Jesus. Smiles of Grace!
