MARGARET O'DONOGHUE Obituary

O'Donoghue, Margaret (Peggy) Poyntz, age 68, of Woodville, Virginia, died at home on September 30, 2012, after a long illness. Born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama, Peggy was the daughter of the late Chenoweth and Margaret Cowan Poyntz. She is survived by her husband, Ross O'Donoghue, her sons, Frederick McGuire Hamilton of San Jose, CA, and Eugene Munger Hamilton of Tempe, AZ, and her sisters Katharine Poyntz Nicrosi of Montgomery, AL, and Charlotte Poyntz Brinson of Mobile, AL. She was preceded in death by her first husband Frederick McGuire Hamilton. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to one's local hospice or to the charity of one's choice.

My heart is heavy finding out that Peggy is no longer with us. We had so many fun times as teenagers and Peggy could not be a more loving friend.

I remember all the wonderful times we had together - especially our ski trips to the Poconos. Although we haven't been close the last number of years (which I regret), she wasa great lady and will be missed.
