Mary Hughes Obituary

Hughes, Mary Earlene Day (87) a resident of Montgomery, AL passed away July 1, 2012 after an extended illness. Mrs. Hughes was retired from the federal government. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church for over sixty years. She enjoyed genealogy and was a member of the Day Society. She also enjoyed writing poems.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Ken Hughes. She is survived by three children Debbie George (Bruce), Ed Hughes (Lisa) and John Hughes (Nan); grandchildren Michael George (Denise), Geoffrey George, Chelsea Hughes (Mike Squillante), Karlie Hughes and Jason Ray(Kristin); great grandchildren Tristan George, Alexander Squillante, Ella Squillante, Jackson Ray and Henry Ray; nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 5, 2012 at 10:00 with visitation at 9:00 at Leak-Memory Chapel.

Pallbearers are John A. Hughes, David Day, Ray Johns, Matthew Jerles, Jason Ray and Andy Adams.

Flowers are welcome or donations in her memory to Covenant Presbyterian Church which was very dear to her.
