I am so sorry to hear about David. We were first cousins. My father and his mother were brother and sister. We didn't see each other often but I know he was a wonderful person and will be missed.

Oh David, I am so used to seeing and keeping up with you at everyone else's funeral. Now it's your time. I am heartbroken. There is no way you could know what an impact you made on my child hood as well as my sisters. You have been battling this cancer for a long time now & you finally get to rest. I wished I had known that Hospice had been called in to get that last chance for a phone call to thank you for all that you did for me. I think you already know how I feel bit it sure would have been nice to speak those words to you. I love you so very much. rest in Gods arms, Donna Rene Cheney

To David's Family: I will always cherish my friendship with David. He really was one of a kind. I called him about two weeks ago and we had a long chat. He talked a little about his health, but mostly he asked about the health of my family. He will be missed by his family and all his friends. Rest in peace. David.
