Ses activités à la Banque du Canada lui ont valu le respect de la communauté financière. Il était également chaleureux, amical et enjoué. Tu vas nous manquer Jacques.

Jacques brought a lovely spirit of curiosity and fun to any gathering. His contribution to our knowledge and interest at Wednesday Nights was inestimable. He gave us the benefit of his vast storehouse of knowledge, compressed into 7 minutes on the topic of the day. We were lucky to know him, he will be remembered with fondness and respect.

Firstly, a gentleman, in the absolute sense of the word. Bright, pleasant, soft spoken, peaceful dreams.

Jacques was always a gentleman, a great friend who had the capacity to explain complex matters in a simple manner, with both wit and seriousness. He made friends with everyone whom he met. The world was undoubtedly a warmer, friendlier place when Jacques was alive. It is an understatement to say that he will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.

Jacques was a contant guest at the Wednesday Night meetings, and provided valuable information to the attendees.
I learned an awful lot from his weekly commentaries.
It is sad to know that he is no longer with us.
Bon voyage, Jacques.

We loved him dearly. He was an engaging, loyal and generous friend whose participation in the Wednesday Night Salon (http://www.dianaswednesday.com/2012/07/jacques-clement-own-r-i-p/) was valued by so many. We miss him and pray that he is at peace.

Before we both retired Jacques and I probably talked to each other about once a week and I have many fond memories of meetings and dinners with him in Montreal and occasionally New York. As one of his Wall Street friends south of the border I mourn his passing.
