James Pauley Obituary

James Frank Pauley Naples, FL

James F. "Jimmy" Pauley, 40, died January 31, 2011 as the result of an accident. Formerly of Illinois, he moved to Naples in 1995 and had worked for the Guidish family at their RV Resorts, since he was 18.

He is survived by his mother, Starr V. Pauley; and a brother, Scott Richard Pauley, both of Naples. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jimmy was liked by everyone. His final gift was that he was an organ donor. A celebration of his life will be shared by family and friends on Sunday, February 6th at 1:00 p.m. at the clubhouse at Paradise Point RV Resort, 14500 Tamiami Trail East.

My Son, It has been a few bad days as I think about you and 3 years ago today was the worst! I had a food allergy reaction and last night I had to go the ER and get it taken care of. It was covering my chin and it swelled my lips and I was worried that it would affect my eyes. I got IV's and a couple prescriptions and I hope to be better in a few days. I miss you so and I will always love you.

I am one of the many aunts that Jimmy was deeply loved by. I would like to say I was his favorite but that title belonged to my sister. That didn't bother me though because even her being his favorite he loved and smiled at all of us the same. My deepest condolences to the Pauley family. I was there about a minute after the accident happened and joined a gentleman that was on the phone with 911. There was little we could do, I held his hand and stayed with him (as well as the other gentleman) and covered him with prayers for God's mercy for his life until the police came and removed us.
