We were sorry to hear about Joe. He died far away from the old home town where he was a good friend to so many. I enjoyed playing sports with Joe in high school and against him in college. Our condolences to the family.

Rosemary:

Very sorry to hear of the passing of your brother Joe. I last had a visit with Joe at our West View High class of 1951 reunion I guess it was 10 years ago. We had a great time catching up with each other and shared a drink together. I'm sure he will be sorely missed. My condolences.

I trust you and children are well.

To the family of Joe Gullo: I was a High School classmate of Joe's. I have not seen him for many years but I have a vivid memory of him streaking down the basketball court, and his wide and generous smile. He was always outgoing and friendly. My deepest sympathy to his family.......Ginny (Reubene) Garrett(Portland, Oregon)

Dear Nancy and Family

Please accept our sympathy at your loss. I went to West View Jr and Sr High with Joe and was in Class of 51. My husband Chuck was in WVHS his last 3 years. He was on some sports teams with Joe. We have not lived in Pittsburgh since about 1960 and have not seen Joe in years. But will not forget him from our days together at WVHS. A great classmate will be missed by all of the Class of 51 WVHS

My deepest sympathy is with all of you. I've only known Joe for a year or two now but we bonded quickly. Especially since we are both Pittsburghers. I will miss his cheerful smile and upbeat personality. He will truly be missed by many including all of his friends at SunTrust Bank.

Steve and Sandy:

I knew your Dad from doing business with him for many years but I feel lucky to have also had him as a friend. He was a good man; the kind of man who still believed in doing business with a handshake. Right now there is an empty space in my heart as I know there is in yours. In time, that empty space will be filled with the memories of the kind of man he was. I know he dearly loved both of you and wanted nothing but the best for you and all his family. He will be greatly missed.
