Dear Wendy & Mike,
I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your son, Brandon. I did get the opportunity to meet him a few times, although he was just a baby. I married a Marine and I am now a mother of a Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton. I can not imagine the pain that you have felt. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family. -

Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Pearson Family know that we recently made a small donation to the "Gary Sinise Foundation" in honor of Brandon W. Pearson US Marine Lance Corporal. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals in the youth hockey community and beyond. We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you strong.
Sincerely,
Charlie Gili & Family

CHRISTMAS WITHOUT ME
Do tears blur the colors of Christmas lights
And carols make you sigh?
Are you saddened because it's Christmas
And I am not nearby?
Do you think of all the joyous times
We shared in seasons past?
Does the ache feel overwhelming
Seeming like it will always last?
Please don't weep for me.
Know this Christmas is my best.
At this Christmas dinner
I'm seated with the Honored Guest
If the tears you cry are for you,
Lonely without me today
To share this year's season,
Then listen to what I say.
God's gift that first Christmas
Was much more than His son.
He gave to us the promise
Of eternal life for everyone.
Now that I've gone on and received
That promised gift of life,
I'm very much a part of
The Christmas spirit light.
I'm the angel sitting on top of
A decorated tree
And a simple Christmas carol
Sung by a child so reverently.
I'm the Santa on the corner
Loudly ringing his bell.
I'm in that Christmas Eve story
That you know so well.
I'm in every sight and sound
That brings people Christmas joy.
I'm a smile on the face of a child
Who received a much loved toy.
Now that I'm part of the season
We loved and shared so much,
Close your eyes, think of me.
Reach out and feel my touch.
Please share in all the joy I'm feeling
Being a part of Christmas cheer.
Look around and you'll find me.
Joyous Christmas, for I am near.
may God be with you as you honor the memory of your precious son Brandon

Dear Pearson family,
I know there are no words to say at this time, except how sorry that I am. I truly feel your loss and pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Brandon will never be forgotten.
For you every single soldier
Those who served so honorable
Your life was forever altered
While I’m home safe and free
I stand with grateful admiration
I stand respectful and so proud
I know I’m only a civilian
And I don’t even know if it’s allowed
But I salute you; allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
Even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
My humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you.
For those missing in action;
for those who didn’t make it home.
I know you’re in God’s presence you are not alone.
For every neatly folded flag;
for every shattered family
I will do the only thing I know to dignify your memory.
I salute you, allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
my humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you .

The Final Salute
“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.
This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to LCpl. Brandon Pearson our Brother in Arms. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Brandon. And to Brandon it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the ultimate sacrifice he made for his country while opposing enemy forces in Afghanistan. No greater love is shown than a man lay down his life for another. Brandon, you are a brave Marine Warrior, a true Patriot and a national Hero. With your passing, our Country has lost a National Treasure. We bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at ease. Rest in Peace.
On behalf of the 1,335 Legionnaire Veterans of Lowe-McFarlane Post 14 of the American Legion in Shreveport, Louisiana, I extend our sympathies and our condolences to Brandon’s family and loved ones. Semper Fi !

Please know how Deeply Sorry I am, to learn of the loss of LCpl Brandon Pearson.
As a parent, who has lost a daughter suddenly and having lost a brother to war...
I am aware of the deep and devastating pain that you are experiencing.
The overwhelming heartache, that seems to surface through our shock, as the time passes.
In the days ahead, you will be going through unimaginable grief, please hang on to your Faith and know that you will get through this.
May the memories of your Brave Young Marine, remain in your heart always and give you strength through the difficult days, and may Brandon rest safely now, in the Loving Care of God and know that he Will Never Be Forgotten.
I am the sister, of such a young Hero, who made the Ultimate Sacrifice in Vietnam, many years ago.
Never my soul, still the song,
Of wounded hearts, their loved one gone,
Of him who gave his life, for me,
That I might live, in liberty.
Sincerely hoping that you can feel the thoughts of caring and support that surround you today and in the days ahead, as this Grateful Country Mourns with you, for Someone Very Precious to you, Who Is A True American Hero to all of us.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I did know know Brandon but know he is a hero. With prayers and God's good grace, I know that my grandson Justin will always be in our hearts, as will Brandon in yours. Rest in peace Brandon and say hello to Justin!

On this day in 1946 my wife's only sibling was born. He was also my only brother-in-law. He gave his life at the age of 21 in Viet Nam. It seemed only proper and fitting to attend the service today for Brandon. We do not know him nor have we met him. We however share a bond of brotherhood that unites us and also adds some light to the torch of Freedom that all vets share regardless of branch of service. I still cry at Ft Logan and all other Military cemeteries and the older I get the easier they flow. You will find days for no reason tears come at unexpected times. Never apologize and always tell any who ask the reason. Those who ask most likely have family or friends that paid the ultimate price. May God's Peace be with you.

I just want to let you know how saddened I am by the loss of Brandon. Although I never met him, just knowing that another one of our heroes has fallen causes me to feel the loss also. We are grateful for men like Brandon and all that he sacrificed for us in the service of his country.
This must be such a difficult time for you, and I pray you will receive the peace and Grace that you need to see you through it.

We are fellow Marine parents. As our son prepares to come home in a couple of weeks from Afganistan, our thoughts turn to those families of our fallen. We are free because of the brave, because of your son Brandon, my son, and many other sons. There is simply no words to express my sympathy and pride at the same time. May God bless you and keep you and give you peace. There is no greater honor and no greater a sacrafice. A lesson we never truly understood until our own son joined the Marines. Semper Fi

Brandon said "if he can help one person in Afghanistan it was worth his life", yet he has helped and served so many more than he could know; here and abroad. It takes men/ heroes like these to secure the safety of all world nations as well as restore world peace. He was a good and brilliant young man that will so dearly be missed.
To Wendy, Mike, Ashley, Alexa & Family; if we can ease the burden of your loss in any way, we will be there for you!
With Love, Dennette, Joe, Jake, Samantha and the entire crew at Arvada Hair.

Even though I've never met you, I would like to say you are one brave young man! Without young men like you we don't get to enjoy the freedoms we have here today that so many take for granted. Thank you for serving our county in uniform. Tim Flynn ( Arvada, Co ) ( Father of a son serving in Afghanistan )
