Hey Daddy.. I didn’t even know this thing existed. Lol but you’ve been on my mind and heart so heavy lately. Probably because your baby girl is about to be a whole woman lol. Turning 30 in a couple of months! I was 10 when you passed away. Even though I have one distinct memory of you that I play over and over again. I came home for a holiday probably and we met you at the gas station for some reason. You gave me a red wallet with some money in side (thank yaaaa) haha. But you gave me the warmest hug.. the biggest kiss..and told me to never forget who you were to me. No matter the distance. And I carry that moment with me forever. I know you live with me in spirit. It’s no denying that. And with all of my siblings lol. We are so much more alike than we thought and I can only imagine that we get those best parts of ourselves from you. I’m going to pursue dancing fr. Just wanted to let you know I’m always doing it for you trying to touch every stage you couldn’t. I love you so much. I’ve cried at all of these messages. And I’ll see you soon for your birthday. I haven’t came by to see you since the funeral but after 20 years I won’t miss it for anything. Hug on all your kids and family cause we miss and love you!! You blessed me giving me your name because it will never die. You will always be a Legend in my eyes and Legends never die. I have a baby boy that will be here next month, and I just wish I had you here to teach me how to be a dad. One question I always ask myself is how will I be a better dad than you were, but in reality I don´t think that´s possible.. Tuca graduate dis yr n have a scholarship to Ole Miss, BJ was offered a scholarship to Florida A&M, Leroy still bein Leroy WOW(LOL),Waddy is doin good but, can do betta but, dey r ballin hard dat's all dat matter. U said one day dey would b ball players n dey r getting der!!! As far as me I had a baby girl (Meli'Yah Marie) n she is spoiled rotten n bad as hell, but she's a beautiful blessin n I luv every bit of it.
