I can't believe Bud has been gone for eight years. I still think back to the good/bad years on Hammel Street. My son, David, passed by 634 Hammel Street every day for two years while taking his son, Jack, to Hoban. Jack is now a freshman at John Carroll. My how time flies. Every time I pass the house on Howard street I think about Rita and Bud. Memories are what keeps our minds active. I'll be 85 this year and where did all the years go? The whole Samuelson Family - Rosalyn, Paul, Joyce and Paul Medkeff, Neil and Joan Samuelson and Garey are gone, but not forgotten!

I'll never forget the great parties we had. The million kids between the Livers, the Franks, and the Justices running all over! I wish I had a copy of the "styrofoam cooler killer" shirt he wore to one of the parties. That story got plenty mileage. I still smile thinking about it. He was always able to laugh and laugh at himself. What a great guy.

To The Liver's Family
Judy Samuelson's entry in the guest book sure brought back memories for my family who also grew on Hammel St. and loved Buddy and his ability to do almost anything from sandlot football, basketball and of course baseball (with a tennis ball). He was a good friend who will always be remembered by me and my family. If only we could roll up the rug and turn on Polka music on Sundays again.
May God bless the Liver's family. Jerry Gaydash and family

I was saddened to hear of the loss of Mr. Livers. He was such a genuine, friendly guy with a great sense of humor. We grew up in a great neighborhood with so many fond memories that included the Liver’s family. Bud always treated Mike and I like we were part of that family. What a great neighbor and friend. My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Livers and the entire family.

It was important to Dad to be friendly, hospitable and make people comfortable when in contact with him or our family. He raised his family to do the same. He liked to tell a good joke or funny story. One of Dad’s favorite songs was by Nat King Cole, “Unforgettable”. Dad/Bud will be unforgettable and always loved.

My in-laws, Paul and Rosalyn Samuelson, lived next door to the Liver's family on Hammel Street. I married Garey and I can still hear/see all the stories about Bud, Jimmy Seibert and neighbors. They grew up in a wonderful neighborhood, had lots of fun (good and bad) and all turned out to be responsible, fine adults. The Liver's left the neighborhood when their house was moved for the interbelt/expresway system that was constructed and I can still hear my father-in-law saying "if they would have taken one more house (634 Hammel St) we could move, but they left their house which is still there today.
My deepest sympathy to Rita and her family.
