Cliff will be dearly missed. He was a lifelong friend of my grandparents, Allen & Frances Shook. I have seen many photos of memorable times shared between them and great have memories of spending time togehter. Cliff and I even shared the same birthday! :) I'll always remember Cliff's sense of humor and fun-loving spirit.
I am sorry for your loss, but at the same time know my Papa Al is happy that his buddy is with him in Heaven.

I have great memories of my Grandpa (Papa) but one of my favorites is that I would stop by his house every day for lunch after I finished classes at Cal State Fullerton. I had a 2-hour break before going to work and Papa always had a home-made sandwich and dessert waiting for me! We would eat and watch The Young and the Restless! Papa always made comments about the characters and how ridiculous the show was but he watched it faithfully every day! I love you Papa and will miss you dearly,

We were so sorry to hear of your fathers passing. I remember so many chats when stopping by the market on the way home from school and Leon got to know him well both on and off duty at FPD. He was a wonderful man and I'm sure you have many fond memories.

I have fond memories of stopping by Lakeman's Market on the way home from school in the 1950's to get an ice cream or soft drink. Mr. Lakeman was always welcoming and friendly. He taught Judy and Bud a great work ethic as they contributed to the family business. He supported Bud in his love of hot rod building and would visit the "guys" in the garage during Bud's many projects. He was a good man and admired by all.
