Elizabeth Woodcock Obituary

Woodcock, Elizabeth Pauline 90 June 23, 1921 May 02, 2012 Elizabeth Pauline Woodcock (Briggs) passed away peacefully in her Portland home at the age of 90. She was married to Dr. Herbert M. Woodcock for 53 years. Elizabeth was born in Spokane where she lived until 1969 before moving to Portland. As a beloved mother and grandmother, she will be remembered for her zest for life and great sense of humor. She adored music, dancing, flowers and laughter. She was always optimistic and grateful for all of life's precious moments and most proud of her wonderful children and grandchildren. Elizabeth is survived by her children, Janice Marvin of Ashland, Steve McNeil, Ann McNeil; and her grandchildren, Jamie, Max and Tracy Marvin. She will be dearly missed. Elizabeth's memorial service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Riverview Abbey Funeral Chapel.

She was a kind lady with much class. She was a friend as well as my patient. God bless her. Also, Herb was a patient and friend and excellent doctor. I was blessed to be in their lives.

My condolences to the Woodcock family. As a former physician for Mrs. Woodcock and a friend of Herb's, I just have to say they were wonderful people with a lot of class. The world has lost two special people. I send my warm regards to the family. Curtis Holzgang, M.D.

I am sorry for your loss. My Dad was good friends with your Dad. I'm glad your parents are together again. I remember my father talking about how broken-hearted she was during your father's illness.
