Dear Bender Family:
The Holy Scriptures provides needed comfort at this difficult time.

Psalm 55:22

Cast your burden on the LORD,
And He shall sustain you;
He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

I am so sorry to hear of Sean's passing. What a fine young man. This passage has helped in the loss of loved ones.
"“Death is nothing at all. I have slipped away into the next room. I am I, and you are you. Whatever we were to each other that we still are. Call me by my old familiar name; speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference in your tone; wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed, at the little joke we enjoyed together. Pray, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effect, without trace of shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant, it’s the same as it ever was, and there is an unbroken continuity. What is death but a negligible accident? Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner."

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Sean, I know what he meant to his family and I can see the family resemblance in his picture. The words written above let me know that there was a resemblance of spirit as well....obviously, he was a young man who loved life and all it has to offer and we can be comforted that he greeted it with open arms and enjoyed it. My condolences are offered for all of those who loved him, and whom he loved so much.
