Dear Shirley and Jane;
Elaine and I wish to express our deepest sympathy at this most difficult time. Although not totally unexpected given Leonard's lengthy illness it is still most difficult all the same. We are sure that your family and friends have been of great support. It is also good to know that Jackie was able to come here from Toronto to be with you, I know how much her friendship means to you. Unfortunately Elaine and I were away in the US and never found out until our return otherwise we would have attended the memorial service. I, and the remainder of your badminton group, know that it will take time to return to the badminton routine you truly love and we look forward to seeing you at the RA soon.

Dear Jane, Mark, Shirley and family: We're really saddened to hear about Leonard, and offer our sincere condolences to you all. He alway made Tino and I smile during our neighbourly chats; quite a lovely man. You are in our thoughts and prayers ...

Dear Jane & Mark,
My thoughts are with you and your family today. I am very sorry to hear of the death of your father. Time does heal the pain of the passing of a loved one, although we never forget! Take good care of you...
