Juel Simonson Obituary



Juel S. Simonson died April 19, 2012.

He was born February 23, 1930, in Red Wing, Minnesota, to Albert and Margret Simonson.

Juel enjoyed working around Quilcene and Port Townsend since 1966 as a roofing contractor and auctioneer.

He served on the Quilcene School Board for many years and was a founding member of Quilcene Bible Church.

He is survived by his wife, Cassie Simonson; daughters Nanette Canterbury of Bellingham, Washington, Sue Borges and husband Tom of Quilcene, and Sandy Solheim and husband Brad of Woodinville, Washington; son Andy Simonson and his wife, Cheryl, of Crescent City, California; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Juel will be held in Crescent City, California, on Saturday, April 28. Cards may be sent to Cassie Simonson c/o Crescent City Church of the Nazarene, 516 Second Street, Crescent City, CA 95531.
