I did not know John died until now. I called him from the golf at arronomink, and was alarmed his phone was disconnected. I am so saddened by this news. I knew him briefly and was touched at his kindness and genuine love of life. I am so sorry for your loss. He spoke so fondly of his family and adorable grandchildren.

Stacey and Family, I just learned of your Dad's passing. I am shocked and so saddened. I am so truly sorry for your loss. I don't have the words to express how wonderful a man John was. He was like a surrogate dad to me when my Dad died so suddenly. I feel your pain -- my thoughts and prayers are with your whole family. He will be greatly missed. May God and your memories of John give you all comfort in this very difficult time.

Dear Mrs Mary Scanlan. All I can say is that it hurts. Know that during our marriage not a day ever went by without him saying something nice about you or his childhood with you. He loved you dearly. You raised a good man. Thank you for the time I had with him.

Stacey -- Your Dad and I were members at Llanerch CC back in the early 90's. We played a few rounds of Golf and struck up a friendship. He invited me on many occasions to play with him and some of his friends. He kept me interested in the game. I met him two years ago at Applebrook but did not get the chance to play with him. We also played Tennis at Aronimink. I will remember him fondly.
