Elizabeth Walters Obituary

Elizabeth Walters NORFOLK - Elizabeth Walters, known as "Sister Dull Sull," of the 100 block of Poplar View Drive in Stafford, Va., and formerly of the 2400 block of Hanson Ave., Norfolk, died May 26, 2011, in Thornton Hall, Norfolk. Born in Norfolk, she was the widow of Milton Walters and a member of Mount Zion Interdenominational Church. Survivors include two daughters, Angela Walters of Norfolk and Dr. Sherri Valencia (Paco) of Stafford; three sons, Al Walters of Norfolk, Kevin Walters of Portsmouth and Milton Walters Jr. of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Pearline Roulack (Lloyd) of Norfolk, Connie Brooks of Portsmouth; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 2, at Mount Zion Interdenominational Church by the Rev. Stanley Sparrow. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens. The remains will be ready for viewing Wednesday from 3:30 to 8 p.m. The family will assemble at 426 W. 26th St., Norfolk, at 10 a.m. for the procession. www.carlosahowardfuneralhomes.com.
